Lockwood Group
Lockwood Group are a family run haulage firm in Derby that provide transport, distribution and warehouse services for a number of household brands throughout the UK.
Project overview
This is the second website project we have worked on for Lockwood, having previously built a website for them in 2017. Lockwood have seen significant growth in recent years and felt their online presence did not reflect the size or position that the business is now in.
For the website to look as good as it could, it was agreed that there was a huge need for updated photography and videography of Lockwood’s team, facilities, fleet and warehouses which was all undertaken by our in-house team.
The outcome
Even though they gain the majority of their work through word of mouth and repeat customers, Lockwood still understand that the first thing that any new referral will do is Google the company name to find out a little bit more about what they offer. Their updated website now portrays the size and success of where the business now is.
At the start of the project our first priority was to organise a media shoot, split over two days to capture a mixture of ground and drone footage of their two sites in Derby. This included footage of their staff at work in the office, warehouse and driving vehicles to show the size and different services they offer along with aerial footage of their sites and vehicles to produce an impactful company overview video.
Our web designers then started work on putting together a new design that tied together Lockwood’s continued growth, the key services it provides and the amazing staff they have in their team.
To aid with ongoing recruiting we developed a careers section that Lockwood’s team can manage themselves and add or remove vacancies they are actively recruiting for to reduce the cost of external recruitment companies.
